MEET THE CREATOR
I’m Trish, the creative mind behind Sweetella Bakes, based in Bluntisham, a village near to St Ives in Cambridgeshire. After a rewarding 24-year career in policing, I finally took the leap in 2021 to fully embrace my lifelong passion for baking and creativity…and Sweetella Bakes was born.
My love for baking began at a young age, watching my mum work her magic in the kitchen. From the moment I picked up my first mixing spoon, I was captivated. What started as baking for family and friends soon became something much more meaningful…there’s nothing quite like seeing faces light up at the first bite.
Family has always been at the heart of everything I do, and that same care, warmth, and attention flows into every cake I create.
My Approach & Values:
Turning this passion into a business has allowed me to combine creativity, artistry, and premium ingredients to create cakes that are truly one-of-a-kind. I have a particular love for handcrafted sugarpaste decorations, hand-finished details, and playful yet stylish personalised designs.
